Guidance Mission

The mission of the counselors of the Poland Schools is to provide high quality, comprehensive school counseling services to all students. Our programs are designed to help all students develop and enhance their academic, social, career, and personal strengths in order to become responsible and productive citizens. There is a commitment to individual uniqueness and the maximum development of human potential.

Through the skillful use of strategic, timely, and personal interventions, counselors customize educational experiences in order to enhance capabilities, close achievement gaps among high and low performing groups and support positive choices.

Poland Local School District is proud to present the results of the 2025 Food Drive, hosted by PSHS Student Council and Poland Middle School PANDA Club. Thanks to the amazing help of our students, staff, parents, and greater community, the Bulldogs were able to donate over 17,000 items to the Poland Food Pantry. That makes this year's food drive Poland Local School District's most successful ever. Thank you, Poland, Ohio, for your generosity!

We are excited to announce our annual districtwide food drive, sponsored by Poland Middle School's PANDA Club and the Student Councils from both Poland Junior and Senior High Schools. All food donations will stay within the community to assist families in need. The food drive will run from November 3 through November 14. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference, and together, we can have a lasting impact on those in need.
